Continuing Education

DECHEMA e.V.'s commitment to continuing education, oriented towards the professional needs of chemists and engineers, is laid down in its constitution. DECHEMA offers approx. 40 courses in the following fields:

• Biotechnology
• Interdisciplinary topics
  
• Electrochemistry, corrosion and corrosion protection
• Measurement and control technology
• Process and reaction technology
  
• Safety technology

Experts from universities and industry ensure that the content of the courses is regularly updated. Courses last several days and usually include experimental modules.

The rationale is to present up-to-date theory and modern methods so that participants can apply them directly to their work.

Aims

• To consolidate and supplement existing knowledge of theory and practical applications
• To convey the fundamentals of scientific fields that are undergoing rapid development
• To provide an in-depth treatment of selected topics that are of prime importance in research and technology or that are in the process of becoming so
